D is for Dinosaur

Today's fun/craft was DINOSAURS!  Now I don't know a whole lot about dinosaurs so I was scrambling a bit.  I decided to keep it simple.  I gathered up the dinosaurs from around the house, tried to print out corresponding coloring pages for each dinosaur and then had the kids match them up, guessing or saying the name as we went along!  I was actually surprised at how they all got into it!  They really know how to play with those prehistorical creatures!!

The kids asked me why the "D" was hanging on the wall? Heh heh heh

As for the remainder of the day we played outside on the swings and on the bouncy obstacle course.  We even ate lunch outside!  What a lovely day!  Were the kids tired?  The two at my house sure were!  Fun & Sun will do it, I think!

Paper Bag Day

Wednesday we made paper bag puppets!  It was a hoot!  I chose the animals for the kids according to who their lovies are.  ie. a dog for Wy (Mr. Fizzer), an elephant for Em (toot toot), a frog for Maiz (she is into frogs right now), and a bear for Bro (bear-bear aka Crusty).

See what Maisie is doing in the background of the above pic?  (You can click on the pic to make it bigger) She is taking a bite out of a matchbox car..... remember this for later  :-D

Here is Em loving her "salad"!!
She was truly excited about it!
She even said to Maisie so excitedly, "Maisie!  Don't you just LOVE salad??"

Now here is Wy taking a bite out of a matchbox car!  The same one?  LOL!  I didn't even notice this until I started posting these pictures!  Kids are funny!  It must have been a tasty one!?

Wy played at the Lego table for a long time.

Deep Concentration
I think every week I will have pictures of Em at the Kitchen or at the table with her meals!  Hey!  Check out the floral centerpiece!

Sweet Sleepyhead

Someone was sleepy this afternoon...... sweet sleepyhead.

The Four of Them

After we walked down to get A & M we came back home, had lunch and then the four of them went down to the playroom and ALL played TOGETHER at the Lego table!  And the did this for a long time!  So cool.  The respected each other's space and shared and worked together!  I say this like I am shocked!?  Not shocked, but just in awe at how amazing our children are!

Laugh your head off

After the Gobs of Goop we did a craft and went outside.  For the craft we decided to make collage of sorts using pictures of your favorite things!  I think they did an AWESOME job of them, don't you?

And then out into the backyard!  Starting with a short game of croquet and then on to the silly swings!  I had such a wonderful morning seeing Em & Wy as siblings and watching them enjoy each other and Laugh and Laugh and Laugh!  It make me giddy!  They were just cracking each other up and it was so cool to watch!

Heh heh They were a little silly on the swings!

What a Hoot!

I had a Hoot with Emily and Wyatt this morning! After we took A & M to preschool we headed to the kitchen and made Gobs of Goop!! Or Magic Mud I guess some call it! It was so fun! I love it! Check it out!

Cooking with Emily

I only captured a few seconds of Em cooking, but I just loved watching her! Such a natural she is. She was humming, and dancing and bopping and tasting while she was preparing her restaurant meals! So cute!
Hmmmmm, I wonder where she picked that up from? A or S??

I love the crazy static

The Bouncy!

I brought out the Little Tikes Bouncy for the first time this year!  Yeaaaahhhhh!!!
